Irene joined the group in the Spring of her freshman year in 2012. She spent five semesters in the group as a soprano before leaving in her senior year. She graduated in the Spring of 2015 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and now works for the US Naval Research Laboratory as a Electronics Engineer

Darienne Hammer
"My favorite memory was my first MEMO retreat! A lot of tears were shed, and laughs laughed, and it had made me realize I had found my home, I had found my family."
Darienne transferred to Virginia Tech as a Sophomore and joined Mixed Emotions in the Spring of 2013. She was an alto and the groups Social Chair during her time in the group and graduated in the Spring of 2015 with a Major in Public Relations and a Minor in Leadership. She moved to Charlotte after graduating to start her new journey after college.

Michael Ferriaolo
"My favorite MEMO memories are from all the times we all went somewhere together. Be it a retreat or Nashville or us recording our album... I loved spending time with my favorite people."
Michael joined the group in his freshman year in the Fall of 2009. He spent his four years as one of our strong basses and as Mixed Emotions tallest member. He graduated in the Spring of 2014 with degrees in Marketing and Management. He currently lives in New York City working for Turner Broadcasting System in Ad Sales.

Mitch Sachs
"[My favorite memory is] going to Nashville to audition for the sing off (both times) and almost making it the second time."
Mitch joined the group the first semester of his freshman year in Fall 2010 and spent four years in the group as a bass. After graduating from the Business School in 2014 with a degree in Accounting, Mitch continued on to obtain his Masters in Accounting from Virginia Tech in the Spring of 2015. He will be working for CohnReznick as an auditor starting in the Fall of 2015.
